Fun sandal with metal hardware (2010-05-04)
I have these sandals in light grey leather (not metallic) and have been very happy with them. They do run a bit large in my experience, so you may want to order a hald-size smaller than your normal size. The heel is pretty high so I would not recommend wearing them for extended periods of time but they are fine for shorter periods of time or occasions where you will be seated more than standing or walking. I am fairly tall (5'10"), so I appreciate that the platform on the ball of the foot is not super high, but is substantial enough to add to the comfort level. One aspect that I am very pleased with is the zipper on the back of the heel - it slides easily and doesn't get stuck or fall down. I have had other pairs of Nine West shoes that had troublesome zippers, but this one is very well made.
